چکیده
Abstract The development of ultra-high-strength steels (UHSS) is revolutionizing its need in the diverse field application, and main credit going to new technological advancement manufacturing using special heat treatment like thermomechanical rolled process produce UHSS with up 1300 MPa tensile strength thicker plate. steel provides higher strength, toughness, extensive reduced weight, significant structural components load lifting vehicles (e.g., mobile cranes, trailers, concrete pump trucks, etc.) lower fuel consumption. However, welding also a challenge due their crack susceptibility hardness reduction heat-affected zone (HAZ). study’s objective analyse effect beam focus on weld geometry different oscillation microstructure behaviour 1100M EB-welded joint. S1100M samples thickness 15 mm were butt-welded by autogenous electron (EBW). study finds that can be satisfactorily welded EBW, improving focus. observed results show oscillation’s microstructural was attributed developing more uniform microstructure.

HDPE monofilaments were obtained using different extruders and drawn by post-extruder equipments. After solidification, drawn and undrawn monofilaments (draw ratio 7:1) were irradiated with 10 MeV electron beams in air at room temperature at 25, 50, 75, 100 and 125 kGy dose ranges to induce a network structure. HDPE crosslinking was studied on the basis of gel content measurements. The fibers w...

Electron beam welding has shown a remarkable job in the space industry for welding of components. It is performed under a vacuum environment that eliminates foreign matter such as hydrogen, oxygen, and other gases. Joining of similar and dissimilar materials is the main advantage of electron beam welding with high depth to width ratio as well as sharp focus at the point where parts are to be we...

This study aimed to investigate the effect of electron beam welding parameters on the microstructural characteristics and mechanical properties of the dissimilar joint between 17-4PH precipitation hardening stainless steel and Ti6Al4V alloy. For this purpose, the welding of these two alloys was done without an interlayer and with an interlayer of copper with a thickness of 0.8 mm. Two different...
